Double Axle

Specification Sheet.

The trailer will have a load area of 3.0 metres long and 1.6 metres wide and sides of 0.9 metres high. The sides will be split into two sections with the lower 0.4 metres being clad with 1.6mm galvanised sheet and the upper 0.5 metres being railings.

The trailer will be manufactured from:

• Chassis will be manufactured from rectangular tubing, (76 by 50 by 2.0mm),
• A-Frame from (76 by 38 by 5mm hot rolled channel),
• Lower side framework, square tube (32 by 32 by 2mm),
• Upper sides, will be railings from square tube, (25 by 25 by 1.6mm),
• Floor will be clad with 1.6mm galvanised sheet and then clad with, 20 mm shutter-ply board, which will be painted with epoxy tar.
• Lashing eyes will be recessed into the floor.
• Drop down support legs will be fitted at the rear of the trailer,
• The upper side railings will have two doors at the rear,
• The tailgate will drop down.

The trailer will be fitted with the following;
Axles, tandem braked beam axles, (auto reverse) with carrying capacities of 1600 kg’s, each,
Wheels, 14 inch styled trailer duster type wheels,
Spare Wheel, will be fitted,
Tyres, 185 by 14, tyres,
Coupling, a braked, auto reverse socket type coupler fitted with a gas damper,
Jockey Wheel, an industrial, adjustable type fitted with a single wheel,
Lights, semi sealed 12-volt lights mounted in steel boxes for protection,
Chevron and reflectors will be fitted as required,
Licence disc holder, the rivet on type.
